Tomorrow I leave for the shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota to the sweetest cabin ever with 5 beautiful (inside and out) women. It is supposed to be pretty chilly so the plan is this: cozy girl talk, hours of creating art, laughing, sharing, reading, singing, cooking, mochas…bliss.
It is like green juice for my soul.
We met two years ago for the first time in the same place. Prior to that we had only known each other on-line via our blogs.
When I came back home after the last trip, I felt a shift in my life. Clearer direction, more confidence. I felt supported in a way that made a difference to my creative business.
So today is the typical running around, cleaning, organizing, busy day that happens before leaving town. In this moment, I feel like there is a lot to do, but I’m buzzing around with a happy heart. Grateful.
