A LOT has happened over the past couple of weeks.  This summer is beautiful and I have been getting all the good I can get out of it.  Including going out to dinner with my husband when this issue of Artful Blogging arrived!  I’m a contributor!

It was beyond exciting when I received Artful Blogging in the mail last Friday- right before a weekend in Lake Placid.  I have had pieces of my artwork published before, but this is a feature article that I wrote with lots of images of my artwork.  It is beautifully done, as always, by this gorgeous magazine.

I remember, a while back when I was first starting on this creative path, pouring over all of the Stampington Magazines in Barnes and Nobel and admiring the artists.  I wondered if I would ever be published- it seemed impossible.   I felt a mix of fear and insecurity and excitement about it.

I am so honored to be part of this Artful Blogging community of amazing artists, many who I consider friends, all of who I respect and admire.
