It has been sunny here all week. Like, really sunny and in the 70’s. It is delightful. The thing about long and dark winters is that pleasant weather is really appreciated. Really.

My Mia is the sweetest girl. I am so grateful for my pets who help to keep me grounded in the present moment and teach me about unconditional love and forgiveness.

This space clearing and renovating is happening in my house right now. It is all about clearing out and making space to breathe deeply and live in beauty. (Thank you Hannah Marcotti and this book.) We are making literal space by taking down a wall, creating a big, open and welcoming room. And all the color that was on the walls is now a gorgeous White Diamond. I can’t wait to share the photos once it is all finished.
Plus, I am going through every inch of this house with the following rules from Soul Space:
If I do not absolutely love it, I release it.
If it does not make me feel amazing, I get rid of it.
If it is beautiful but makes me feel lousy, I let it go.
If it is broken beyond repair, I toss it.
If it is expensive and carries negative emotional weight, I sell it.
If it is in good condition and no longer feels like mine, I donate it.
All of this is making me very happy.

This post makes me happy! I think I’m going to have to save that piece from Soul Space too, love that…. 🙂
Thanks so much Ruth! It’s good right? It’s helping me to let go.
I am so thankful for all of my animals. They love me unconditionally and accept me for who I am, even if I am having a bad day. God calls on us to take care of the animals. It is an honor for me to do that.
