This week I am diving deep into working on original paintings. I have several custom paintings to finish, then I will be working on new originals to be ready for sale before the holidays. I am also creating a new set of Prayer Flags to add to my holiday collection.

I find that it works best for me if I have a big chunk of time to begin a creative project or painting. This means I need to disconnect from the rest of life a bit to make space. I have to work on balancing the creative side with all the other aspects of my business. Sometimes I wish I could retreat up in the mountains in a sweet little cabin for a week of just making art with no internet service. Bliss! Maybe one day. But, for now I am retreating into my studio and will be peeking out every now and again.
How do you find time and space for creativity? I would love to know.

It is so wonderful to see you in your creative space, Lori. You inspire me, beautiful friend. Sending love.
You inspire me with your adorable cabin in the mountains!!!
I just discovered your art on Pinterest. Your paintings are so bright, “happy”, beautiful and inspiring. Thank you!
