Showing Up

I am reading the book, The War of Art, by Steven Pressfield and learning about Resistance.  He says, “Put your ass where you heart wants to be.”  So this is me all week- at the table, art supplies, hot chocolate or tea.  Showing up fully.  Doing my work.  

This book is changing my perspective as an artist.  I feel a deep inner shift happening as a result of reading.  I think once I finish I am going to re-read it again right away.  

I’ll write more about what I am noticing once I have a better understanding of it all.   For now, I know that reading this book is big for me.  I love how the right books show up at just the right time.
