This is the first time I have loved painting butterflies because I wasn’t trying to make them look realistic. I just had fun with them!
This painting was damaged in Hurricane Helen but I worked on it again and so it was painted TWICE with love :) (No mold grew on it, thankfully.)

To me butterflies are gentle, delicate reminders to pause and notice the beauty and magic that surrounds us. It always stops me in my tracks when I see one and brings me into the present moment.
